Week 1 - August 17th-21st (mob, mot, mov = move)
1. automobile - a self - propelled passenger vehicle that moves
2. demote - to move down in grade, rank, or status
3. locomotion - the ability to move from place to place
4. mobile - capable of moving or being moved
5. mobility - the quality or state of being able to move about freely
6. mobilize - to coordinate; to move people or things around for a purpose
7. motion - the act or process of changing place or position; the ability or power to move
8. motivate - to do something that makes a person move into action
9. promote - to raise or move to a higher grade, rank, or job; to advocate
10. removal - the act of moving something away
Week 2 - August 24th - 28th(grad, gress = step)
1. aggressive - hostile; pushy; stepping into someone's space with forceful energy
2. centigrade - Celsius; temperature rating on the thermometer made up of 100 degree intervals or steps between the freezing and boiling points of water
3. degrade - to reduce someone's worth or value; to make someone step down to a lower position or rank; to move down a step in social status
4. digress - to stray away from the main topic; to step away from the topic and lose clarity; to wander in thoughts or ideas
5. gradual - a slow change; a step-by-step change

2. president - an executive officer who sits in charge of a firm or organization
3. reside - to settle into a place to live; to exist
4. residence - a home; a place where a person settles to live
5. sedan - a closed automobile that has enough room for four people to sit comfortably
6. sedate - to help someone calm down; to help someone settle down
7. sedative - medicine used to help a person settle into a state of calmness
8. sedentary - fixed to one spot; marked by a great deal of sitting and very little exercise or travel
9. sediment - the solid material that settles to the bottom of a liquid

7. onomatopoeia - the formation of words that imitate sounds associated with the objects or actions to which they refer
